Women’s Coaches

Michelle Caldwell – Head Coach

Coach Michelle Caldwell is entering her 11th year as head women’s basketball coach at Hiram High School. In her time at Hiram, the Lady Hornets have experienced three 20+ win seasons, three state playoff appearances and clinched two regular season titles and one region tournament title.

Prior to her time at Hiram, Coach Caldwell spent six years as the head women’s basketball coach at Tift County High School in Tifton, GA. During that time the Lady Blue Devils made four state playoff appearances and were crowned regular season region champions in 2006. Coach Caldwell was also named Region 1-AAAAA Coach of the Year during the 2005-2006 season.

Coach Caldwell holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Health and Physical Education from Valdosta State University.

 

Monica O’Neil – Varsity Assistant Coach

 

Patrice Bryant – Varsity Assistant Coach

Patrice Bryant is the Assistant Coach of Girls Varsity Basketball for Hiram High School. She has over 10 years of coaching experience under her belt. She played 2 years of Professional Basketball overseas in both Holland and Sweden respectively. She played Division One Basketball at the College of Charleston where she received numerous accolades. Her High School career at Westlake High School was a successful one which led to her jersey number #24 being retired and afforded her the opportunity to return as an Assistant Coach. She held the schools record for most points scored in a game for almost 15 years until 2016. Patrice spent the last three years as Head Coach for the Girls Varsity Basketball team at Langston Hughes High School in Union City, Ga.
