Meet Coach Chelsey, Head Coach of the Jr. Hornets!

Entering her third year as head coach, Coach Chelsey brings a wealth of experience and passion to the team. With a background in cheer and dance that began at the age of 5, she has competed in numerous competitions and trained at prestigious institutions such as SheeKri Style Dance Academy in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Dance 411 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Her impressive resume includes performances on tours and as an opening act for various celebrities, as well as winning the 106th and Park (W.O.W) competition in 2009. Coach Chelsey is dedicated to fostering greatness not only in herself but also in her team and those around her.

With expertise in cheer, dance, step, and a variety of performing arts, her mission is to instill values of sportsmanship, respect, integrity, and dignity in her athletes. She is a nurturing and supportive coach who is committed to helping each child grow in confidence and overcome challenges throughout the season.

Coach Chelsey is thrilled about the upcoming season and can’t wait to witness the creativity and teamwork of the Jr. Hornets! Let’s go, Jr. Hornets!

Meet Coach Chelsey, Head Coach of the Jr. Hornets!

Meet Coach Dukes, she is a proud Golden Ram who earned her Bachelor’s of Art in Psychology at the Unsinkable Albany State University. She is a dynamic and passionate cheer coach on a mission to inspire and empower young athletes! With 4 years of coaching experience, her journey began as a team mom for our Baby Buzz team and evolved into coaching the Jr. Hornet middle school team. Her love for cheerleading ignited at a young age, and she has cheered with organizations like the Redan Raiders, Jr. Falcons, Tigers, as well as a varsity cheerleader and captain in high school.

When not on the field she is a proud mother of 3 scholar athletes who are a part of the feeder program as well from football to cheer. Coach Dukes loves being on the beach or somewhere trying new adventures. Most importantly she loves spending time with family and friends.

Coach Dukes can’t wait to work with her upcoming team and watch them achieve their goals on and off the field ! Let’s get it Hornets !
