Junior Hornets Head Cheerleading Coach: Chelsey Fowlkes

Coach Chelsey Fowlkes was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN. She grew up loving sports and being very active in her community. She started cheering at the age of 5 and realized that it was something she was great at. Fowlkes would go on to make both her middle school and high school cheerleading teams. She even had the rare achievement of becoming a flyer during her freshman year of high school. Fowlkes continued to both cheer and dance during her time in high school. When it was time for Fowlkes to go to college, she was overjoyed to find out that she received scholarships for dance and cheerleading. Ultimately, Fowlkes decided to take the dance scholarship as it better aligned with her life at the time, but Fowlkes continued to love both sports. Coach Chelsey Fowlkes has always been passionate about cheerleading and she is both honored and excited to teach and prepare others to show their spirit!
